Astounding Health Update

I want to take a moment to update everyone on how I am healing and to thank you for all of your care and concern. I recently went back to the hospital to have my follow up CT Angiogram. They wanted to see if the tear in my carotid artery was healing and if there was any occlusion. After the results from the test came back, I met with my doctor. She said she saw the footage from the test and was completely amazed by what she saw. She indicated that she expected to see obvious visible scarring that intruded into the artery, but instead, stated that it almost looked as though nothing had ever happened. She was completely astonished at the completeness of the healing. After receiving this incredibly encouraging report, I was able to stop taking my blood thinners and am anxious for my taste to return to normal. I am hopeful that I will no longer experience the metallic taste with my food. I am also encouraged that I am no longer restricted with how much I can lift, and my energy level is starting to return. There are so many things that I have had to put on hold for awhile. One thing I am looking forward to being able to do again is to start working on my next painting.
