TERMS OF SERVICE

I am pleased to welcome you to my site!  A lot of love, time and effort has gone into the creation of each piece of art.  I want you to have a great experience shopping with Keith Rust Illustration and will do everything possible to make this happen.  However, it is the nature of the business that I cannot control every aspect of the process.  Please take a few moments to review my policies and procedures.  Keith Rust Illustration reserves the right to all said policies and procedures as outlined below and in my Return Policy.

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING INFORMATION

We pack very carefully!  So far, we have never had any issues of damage reported. I reserve the right to use USPS, UPS Ground or FedEx Ground for insured packages.  The customer is responsible for providing a delivery address where a delivery confirmation signature could be recorded.  PLEASE open and inspect all items immediately, as there is usually only a 2-3 day window of time to file a damage claim with delivery companies.  We currently do not ship internationally. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Most of my items are made to order and assembled to the specific options that you have chosen.  I have made my best effort in presenting the specifics about each item such as size, finish and approximate lead times. 

It is important that you ask as many questions as necessary about a product that you are interested in PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR ORDER.  If you have a question, please send me an email by using the email form on the CONTACT page.  Please include the Item Name and the various options selected so we can avoid confusion, and I can help you more quickly.  Once your order has been placed, a cancellation must be made within 48 hours of placing the order.

RETURN POLICY

Any return on any item that is not damaged or defective from shipment must be made within 7 days of its delivery.  I can not accept returns on any item that is not damaged or defective from shipment after 7 days of its delivery.  For a return made within this 7-day period, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs along with insurance.  The original shipping fee and insurance for the item will not be refunded to the customer.  A restocking fee of 15% of the item’s cost will not be refunded to the customer.  Please Contact me in advance for a return within the 7 day period, to receive your return instructions.  The customer is responsible for appropriately repacking in the item’s original container as well as all the shipping cost back to Keith Rust Illustration.  Item must be returned in excellent shape and in the original packaging.  A returned item will be inspected upon it’s arrival for damage.

 

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

BOXES MAY NOT APPEAR DAMAGED, BUT COULD CONTAIN DAMAGED MERCHANDISE!  PLEASE open and inspect all items immediately, as there is usually only a 2-3 day window of time to file a damage claim with delivery companies.  Open the box(es), completely unpack and closely inspect your new item(s).  All items must be inspected by the recipient immediately upon receipt and any damage must be reported by the recipient to me within 48 hours.  I cannot replace your item if you do not report any possible damaged or defect within 48 hours of receipt.  PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR ANY DAMAGE OR DEFECT YOURSELF.  Otherwise the product will be considered tampered with and cannot be replaced.  For efficiency sake, if the customer has access to a digital camera, I ask that you take a snapshot of the defect or damage to the item as well as the packaging (if damaged) and email this to me.  PLEASE DO NOT DISCARD ORIGINAL PACKAGING OR BOXES.  A claim can not be made with the shipping company without it.  Returned damaged items or defective items will be inspected upon it’s arrival and replaced.
