“I first saw Keith Rust’s art work at an art show at the Gamble House in Pasadena. I loved all of his work on display, especially those depicting Yosemite Valley. About a year later I ordered “Serene Half Dome” because the location reminds my husband and me of our back packing honeymoon there almost 50 years ago!

“I just received my second of two paintings, Serene Half Dome. It joins my first, Smoky Mountain Autumn, that I obtained three months prior. Three years ago I saw an ad in American Bungalow magazine showing some of Keith’s work. I knew immediately that I would someday own some. Well, that time has come. I’ve hung Smoky Mountain Autumn on the wall above my headboard and Serene Half Dome in the living room area. Now, I wake up and go to bed seemingly looking out at the setting/rising sun in the Smokies. Then I am able to proceed to the living/dining room to see Half Dome in all its glory...all from my home! Stunning and awesome!
Your art, Keith, gives my family and I joy. The rich, vibrant colors draw the eye to the beautiful detailing. It’s riveting. This isn’t your typical flat looking painting, these are unbelievably three-dimensional with astonishing realism. The great craftsman style oak frames with custom liners tie in with my rustic mission home nicely and frame the paintings in such a way that they act as windows to the painted scenes within. Every time I look at them my eye spots something new, and so the vistas are ever changing and always seeming new.
