 Rolling Rocky Hillside

— Coming —

The oak-studded foothills of California’s Central Coast have long been shaped by ranching and agriculture dating back to the mid-1800s. These rolling grasslands, once part of expansive Mexican land grants, became home to cattle ranches prior to statehood in 1850. The region’s scattered boulders and wide valley floors reflect ancient geological uplift that formed the coastal ranges.
